00:38:33amgine123hey raptor
00:38:36amgine123Im having problems
00:38:57amgine123Im trying to comile my bitfighter build but suddenly its trying to compile one file and not teh whole folder :(
00:39:08raptorhi
00:39:25raptorwhat compiler are you using?
00:39:52amgine123hmm well im using miniGw trough codeblocks I belive
00:40:51raptorand what source code revision are you compiling at?
00:41:24amgine123its a 19E build
00:41:47raptorok
00:42:00raptorand you were able to compile before with codeblocks + mingw?
00:42:28amgine123nope thats what im trying to figure out
00:42:58raptorah ha
00:43:00raptorso this is new
00:43:01raptorok
00:43:15raptorwell, i've never used that compiler/ide combo before
00:43:33raptorthe first thing you want, I think, is to make sure you've run CMake properly. have you run it yet?
00:44:05amgine123I think so but I need to build not cross build ?
00:44:14raptorcross build is not needed
00:44:26raptorwhat cmake command did you use?
00:45:05amgine123Hmm I cant remeber it was a while back
00:45:18raptorwell, this is new with codeblocks right?
00:45:56raptorso if you haven't run it new, then you'll have to do it again
00:46:24amgine123ok
00:46:59raptorok, first thing, you have the code checked out with mercurial (hg)?
00:47:00amgine123I forget the command I had somoen esle preety much do it for me
00:47:10amgine123yes I did check it out
00:47:27raptorok, go into the source code folder, then into the 'build' sub-directory
00:47:46raptorthen run this command in that directory: hg clean .
00:48:03raptorremember the dot (.) in that command
00:48:18amgine123I think I may not of actully
00:48:38amgine123I dont see a "build" subdirectory
00:49:20raptorif you've checked out the source code, then there is a 'build' directory
00:50:15amgine123Apperently not
00:51:16raptorthen you didn't check out the source code properly or have deleted it
00:51:22raptoror are in the wrong place

00:55:32amgine123alriught now do I do it again >.>
01:01:06raptorI need to sleep, but for your reference when you're ready to run CMake, run this command in the 'build' directory: cmake -G "CodeBlocks - MinGW Makefiles" ..
01:01:25raptorthat will generate a codeblocks project for you, which you can then open with codeblocks
01:01:32raptorgood night!
01:01:49amgine123So I got a copy with cmd line but how to put it in cmake ?
01:02:12raptoryou run the cmake command with the cmd line, too
01:02:20raptorbut only in the 'build' directory
01:04:21amgine123how to do that ? (im so sorry my my stupidity
01:05:03raptorhere, follow these directions: http://bitfighter.org/wiki/index.php/Building_Bitfighter#Windows
01:05:25raptorbut at #3, instead of doing the visual studio cmake command, use the command I pasted above
01:05:35raptorok, have to sleep. night!

14:23:50LambenceeHello, I'm new to level making. Jojo didn't know how to get an object I placed the level editor to be referenced in script. I'm a assuming the ObjectID could be helpful but I couldn't find a function to get an object by ID in the documentation. Thanks.
14:32:20LambenceeNevermind I found it in an old script
14:32:25Lambenceethanks though
