What music formats are accepted in bitfighters muic file?

Bitfighter can handle most of the major module (tracker) formats as well as vorbis. These files commonly have the following extensions:

• .s3m
• .xm
• .it
• .mod
• .ogg

so it doesnt support the standard formats like mp3 ?

Nope. I does not support 'mp3' or 'm4a' or 'aac' because of license issues. There really is no way around this until the licenses expire on those formats.

hmm any good programs for converting formats if possible ?

There are some online tools. Google "format1" to "format2" ex. "mp3 to ogg" and you'll get a few hits. I actually think VLC, while designed for video conversion and playback, supports audio file conversion.

We know how to support more formats. It's a legal issue with supporting them, however, so we deliberately choose to not support them right now.
