CONSPIRACY THEORIES CONTEST RESULTS!

The Winners:

Plurality winner–AKA most first place votes: TIE between Deepwater Horizon (Quartz) and Timecube (raptor)

Plurality-with-Elimination winner–basically eliminate candidates until first place has more than 50% of votes by absorbing the first place votes of irrelevant candidates: Timecube (raptor)

Borda Count winner–1st place vote=5pts, 2nd place vote=4pts, etc.: Timecube (raptor)

Pairwise Comparison winner-Head-to-head vote count comparison between each and every map pitted against each other: Timecube (raptor)*

...So it looks like I owe raptor $20 because I'm not gonna count my miraculous tie against the ever-fabulous Timecube as my win somehow and tell him I only owe him $15!

Well-earned, I'd say, since he submitted three maps, two of which had intense (and rather excellent) scripts, AND hosted the Contest Server for me. Thanks so much for your participation, sir!

Interesting anomalies:

- While raptor's Timecube performed exceptionally well, his other maps Bitfighter 020 and D.B.Cooper did average and relatively awful, respectively, by comparison.
*Most impressively, Timecube was VERY NEARLY the Condorcet Winner of the Pairwise Comparison calculation–meaning it beat every other map except for a tie with 2 Minutes to Midnight.

- bobdaduck's RUSSIA received no 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 5th place votes at all; yet it received half of the 4th place votes. This is why RUSSIA performed poorly overall but got 3rd place in Pairwise Comparison.

- Similarly, Little_Apple's Homosexual Anura Speed Dating performed poorly overall but got 4th place in Pairwise Comparison thanks to a plethora of 5th place votes.

- Quartz' Pleiades is Skynet performed decently overall, but got absolutely thrashed in Pairwise Comparison with 9th place. wew.

- Now to pick on people single people out a bit:
- sky_lark was the only person to vote his own map at 1st place.
- raptor wins the ultimate prize in humbleness, not voting for his own maps at all yet winning the contest in every category. GG.
- Little_Apple wins the runner-up prize in humbleness, awarding his lone map a measly 5th place vote.
- bobdaduck submitted his votes under the name "Idk man some duck." Seems legit.
- Skybax and WhittlingWhile were the only voters who did not submit a map to the contest. Perhaps this method of voting intimidates people not intimately familiar with the contest, which could be a weakness of calculating the winners in this manner.

Wow this an impressive recap. Congrats raptor and thanks Quartz for hosting. If anyone's wondering, I updated jaws but with penguins to be more friendly to humans.
