Bitfighter keeps crashing after around 5 seconds of loading.

Everytime I try loading bitfighter, it will open up to the menu screen (I can't select anything at all or scroll), and then freeze after 6 seconds, but the process is still active. Does anyone know why this happens/how to fix it? Please get back to this fast, I've tried running on a USB (with the standalone.txt) and on the computer. Thanks for any help given!

Issue resolved! Avast! Antivirus has been detecting bitfighter as a suspicious file and shutting it down as it activates. Just had to exclude it.

Odd, I use avast and have never had that problem.

My little brother uses avast and I get the same behavior on his machine. I remember this discussion coming up before, too.

bitfighter used to have have this problem with norton anti virus but it was fixed with the 17b release also welcome to the forums also im not famalier with advast but can the admins maybe find a way to make it look non suspicious by editing the file or something?
