Freeplay mode

This is a mode that would be great for dungeons, test maps, and other misc maps.It would have some options to customize it like:

Enable players to kill other teams

I'm confused, what exactly are you suggesting here?

He's suggesting a sort of sandbox mode, where asteroid spawns are enabled.

Why doesn't this forum have strikethrough? -_-

Okay, I'm clearing missing something here, but I'll risk looking like an idiot and asking it anyway: How is a sandbox mode different than a regular, one-team Bitmatch?

You're not the only idiot not knowing that. ;-; But i'm going to guess is that they want some sort of way to edit almost every aspect of Bitfighter, like the ship health, speed, ect.

Now that I think about it, that'd be quite interesting. Seeing one hundred ships trying to kill a boss ship.

Because in sandbox mode you can engineer things.

Re: Freeplay mode

I think what lamp wants is something that Sam did a long while back. He modded the game so that he could edit levels and move ships as he was playing them. Am I close?

Aha, this makes sense. I agree that it would be interesting, but can't much of this already be done with scripts? I guess it's not entirely straightforward, but still.

I still can't tell if you're trolling, haha, because in "non-sandbox" mode objects can be engineered too.

Re: Freeplay mode

Yes, but in sandbox mode you could repair turrets and projectors!
