03:32:00CrazyLinuxNerdhey raptor
03:32:00raptorhi
03:33:00CrazyLinuxNerd_k suggested I make a levelgen for that maze morgans revenge.. i'm currently on line 285 on the level gen... :/
03:33:00raptoroh wow
03:33:00CrazyLinuxNerd notes to self not to take _k's advice and make level gens.. they take to much time lol
03:33:00raptoryou know LUA well?
03:33:00CrazyLinuxNerdno, but i know other languages
03:34:00CrazyLinuxNerdi kinda put it together you know
03:35:00CrazyLinuxNerdi find, once you learn your first language, it's easier to pick up the others imo
03:35:00raptorit's very true - if you learn the language in the right way
03:36:00CrazyLinuxNerdbut anyway yeah.. i'm trying to make 10 different routes on this maze, done 6 so far
03:36:00CrazyLinuxNerdalso added a bunch of debug functions for my self, i was getting right confused so i added some stuff to help me in editor.. lol
03:36:00CrazyLinuxNerdnamely which barrior was which...
03:37:00CrazyLinuxNerdso their all ID'ed now once debugmode is set to true
03:37:00CrazyLinuxNerdand has a nice handy index to help me :-)
03:37:00raptorcool
03:38:00CrazyLinuxNerdbasically the "index" is like this
03:38:00CrazyLinuxNerd-- BARRIER INDEX --
03:38:00CrazyLinuxNerd -- 1: BarrierMaker 50 3.5 139 3.9 139
03:38:00CrazyLinuxNerdwhile the code, for each lil barrier is on the map :-)
03:38:00CrazyLinuxNerdso i just look up number, go to that and bobs ya uncle
03:38:00raptorneat
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdproblem is i tend to "over do" things
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdlike most of these are unneccasary yet are there
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdenabled = 1 -- Enable script?
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdscriptinfo = 1 -- Show information about script on map?
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdrandommaze = 1 -- Randomize maze?
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdrandomenterexit = 1 -- Randomize the entrance and exits?
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdswitchasteroid = 1 -- Enable random asteroid in flag chest?
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdstickmen = 1 -- Enable the stickmen? They said, if you disable them they won't be happy..
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerdversioninfo = 1 -- Display map version information?
03:39:00CrazyLinuxNerddebugmode = 1 -- DEBUG option! Should be disabled at all times!
03:39:00raptorhaha
03:40:00CrazyLinuxNerdbut yeah lol
03:40:00CrazyLinuxNerdfun times.. problem with me when i start.. i don't stop,...
03:40:00CrazyLinuxNerdso i just start adding random stuff
03:41:00CrazyLinuxNerdlike debug also, displays which route id is in use (number) that's why it should be off ;)
03:41:00CrazyLinuxNerdanyhows.. i'm going on and on here..

03:54:00raptorsounds like syntax error
03:54:00CrazyLinuxNerdyup, i forgot to type "then" after if..
03:55:00raptori'm still getting used to LUA myself..
03:56:00CrazyLinuxNerdwhat i'm used to: <?php $var = true; if ($var) { echo "true" } ?>
03:56:00CrazyLinuxNerdlol
03:56:00CrazyLinuxNerdbut lua is slightly dif
03:56:00raptorphp! the evilness!
03:56:00raptorbut yet so useful
03:56:00CrazyLinuxNerdweird not doing {'s and }
03:57:00CrazyLinuxNerdactually that code would of broken
03:57:00CrazyLinuxNerdi forgot a ;
03:57:00CrazyLinuxNerdand php is great.. once you get the hang of it.. which could take.. a long time
03:58:00CrazyLinuxNerdwould u like to see morgans revenge w/ the levelgen enabled?
04:01:00raptorsure
04:02:00CrazyLinuxNerdalright, join my test one on the map (the one that says do not join, i'll PM you the pass..)

05:47:00zoomber_ibmok, if spectators should not appear on the tab-board, where do you suggest we put them?
05:47:00zoomber_ibmwe have to put them somewhere, how will we know they exist if nothing shows they are spectating?
05:48:00zoomber_ibmi don't want someone lurking on a server i have no idea about, i will /rage if this happens.
05:49:00zoomber_ibmi still like my idea putting spectators in the tab-list. but whatever, everyone has their own opinion. thats mine. period

10:42:00-christel- [Global Notice] Hi all, one of our sponsors are experiencing some routing issues -- as a result we are missing a few servers, have a messed up rotation, no services and no web presence. Hopefully we'll return to some normality soon. Thank you for your patience and have a good day (or night, if you're Australian!)

15:10:00sam686look, bitfighter forum is so tiny.. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Abitfighter.org%2Fforums%2F
15:24:00raptorwow, what happened?
15:26:00raptormaybe the google bot has less access to forums
15:30:00sam686i wonder if making it more searchable allows more people to find bitfighter?
15:30:00raptornah
15:32:00raptori just realized that a google search for 'bitfighter' turns up the old project page on sourceforge before google code
15:34:00sam686even a few results of "Bitfighter" results in some videos...

18:01:00raptorwow
18:02:00CrazyLinuxNerddid you guys submit to one of those multi-bot index thingys?
18:02:00raptornope
18:02:00CrazyLinuxNerdweird
18:02:00raptorbut there are standard bot accounts that come with phpbb..
18:03:00CrazyLinuxNerdyeah, but you currently have 20 bots on the forum..
18:03:00raptorkaramazovapy: we are having a HUGE influx of registered bots on the forum, do you know anything about how they interact with phpbb?
18:04:00raptorit's probably some sort of automated attack on the forum
18:05:00CrazyLinuxNerdraptor, that's something i happen to know ;) - Bots have "registered" accounts, it's not really a registered account as such, the phpbb software detects said bot and displays it as a registered user, along with a bot name. in phpbb admincp there is options for them :-) (you can define others, or remove etc)
18:12:00CrazyLinuxNerdthe bots are gone.. :-)
18:16:00raptoryeah, but it skewed the 'most users ever online'
18:16:00raptorthere are 50 bots
18:18:00CrazyLinuxNerdmakes bitfighter look more popular i suppose

19:30:00karamazovapyI FINALLY HAVE A COMPLETE DRAFT OF MY THESIS.
19:30:00raptorkaramazovapy: congrats!
19:30:00karamazovapyit might be crap. I wrote most of it in a delirium
19:31:00raptornow you can breath for a few minutes before you rewrite it all
19:31:00karamazovapyI'm typically a pretty decent writer...so I shouldn't have to scrap much of it
19:32:00raptorthat's good
19:33:00karamazovapyhttps://www.msu.edu/~youattan/youatt_thesis_complete.pdf - if you're curious
19:35:00raptorthat's a large PDF
19:35:00karamazovapylots of graphics
19:35:00karamazovapyhalf of it, actually
19:37:00raptorlooks like an analysis of spectral analysis
19:38:00karamazovapywell it's not a common music theory technique, so I have to establish it a bit first
20:07:00karamazovapyoh - also - https://www.msu.edu/~youattan/Edgard_Varese_-_Ionisation.mp3
20:12:00karamazovapyhah!

20:12:00raptoragain!!
20:13:00CrazyLinuxNerdoh man, those bots love your forum...
20:16:00sam686maybe it is just one bot that is faking it's user-agent as multiple different bots....
20:16:00CrazyLinuxNerdpossible
20:16:00CrazyLinuxNerdbut it would need multiple connections for that..
20:23:00sam686there no bots right now... hey look, everytime you open http://208.107.52.15/bf.php/forums/ one more bot immediately shows up...
20:24:00raptorneat sam686, did you fake the user agent to do that?
20:24:00sam686yes... i will show you a php code in 60 seconds that does that..
20:25:00sam686http://208.107.52.15/bf.php.txt thats the code that runs it...
20:25:00raptorneat - did you write that?
20:27:00sam686yes... i first wrote http://208.107.52.15/hg.txt for use of http://208.107.52.15/hg.php (which is just a simple limited proxy to my hg server..
20:27:00sam686they are basically similar, but I wrote it..
